HI, My name is Breanna.
I am an easy-going, Winston-Salem native, who loves all things fall. I don’t make my kids make their beds (“do as I say, not as I do” doesn’t actually work) and my husband lovingly gripes when I have 4 pairs of shoes laying around. I believe the adventure is what makes any destination worth it… so snowboarding is a favorite. Curiosity is in my DNA, yet new things scare me a bit. I am an introvert, though a “not-easy-to-spot” introvert because I think people are interesting.
My free-spirit personality didn’t always feel accepted, professional, or welcome. I spent a ton of effort masking my quirks for fear of being labeled “scatter-brained”. When the true me peaked through, I felt guilt or embarrassment, so I’d go back to hiding. Through my own therapy, I relearned how to get curious and enjoy the little things again.
I help people who can’t seem to find themselves. Those who have changed so much for others to feel more comfortable, they don’t even remember who they are. Clients sit on my couch for different reasons, but the struggle is often the same. Hiding breeds guilt, resentment, and feeling like an imposter. My own journey (which is different than yours will be) has positioned me to know the value of cultivating authenticity.
If you imagine the real you has to be there somewhere but needs to be chiseled free, you’re my people.
